There is a lot of material in this course and doing everything right costs more money. With small heating companies having to bear the brunt of the training costs and also running our business. We will run into the problem of having our trained technicians being poached by other companies who do not do training but approach a working technician with a 10-15% raise if they come over. We also will run into problems with our technicians that we have put years of training into, leaving with all the knowledge we have given them leave and start their own business in direct competition with us. If the govrnment paid a $ 10.00 an hour top up for 1st 2nd 3 rd and 4th year for refrigeration apprentices. This would entice small companies to train their own technicians instead of steeling mine. This would also bring a huge number of people to come into the trade as hopefully they are being better trained Allan Lake Good Guys Heating Cooling & Plumbing Ltd
