Description
In this module we are going to look at the type of tools and equipment we use in the installation industry, how we use them, what are they made of, how we take care of them, and develop an understanding of related best practices.
Objectives
- Recognize and differentiate the uses of measuring and hand tools
- Explain the best practices for using access and rigging equipment
- Describe a sample of equipment operations and maintenance procedures
- Identify best practices for the use and maintenance of fiber machines
- Recognize basic components of spray foam equipment
- Identify key components of a temporary mechanical ventilation system
- Recognize the applications and components of SPF and airless paint guns
